Czechia White steamrolled Switzerland U16, Nestrojil scored hattrick

Czechia White started the second phase of the U16 tournament with a huge win against Switzerland. The hosts got in the lead early in the first period, winning it 2-0. Their job didn't stop there, however, and they kept on going and adding more goals. Four goals in both remaining periods, including a three-goal performance by Pavel Nestrojil, marked the Czech win. COACHES´ REACTIONS

Michal Edl (CZW): "We are happy that we managed it. At the beginning, our legs didn't work well, which we attribute to the match against Canada. The guys are following the instructions and, of course, we respect the strength of the opponent, but we were supposed to play and we played it. Tomorrow, we are going to win; that's why the guys are here. They have to play good matches to progress."

Vasco Rodiguez Soares (SUI): "When we played 5-on-5, it was good, I think. However, we committed too many penalties, resulting in conceding five or six goals during the power play. It's not possible to compete against such skilled players like that. Tomorrow, our goal is to do everything we can to win."
