COACHES´ REACTIONS
Martin Davídek (CZE): „It was our first game, we entered with enthusiasm, there was a lot of movement. The game was officiated according to international rules, which we're not so accustomed to in Canada, so we'll have to adapt to that. The opponent took advantage of power plays, but we told the boys to stick to our plan. There was still plenty of time left, and in the end, we managed to turn it around, which we're happy about. We're looking forward to our next games.“
Edward Costa (USA): „I think we played well. We were a bit nervous at first, our powerplay was struggling. Then our assistant coach Will McKeen came to me and wanted to change things up. We did that and got three goals on the powerplay, so we really have to thank him, he made great adjustments for us and it showed in the game. I think we have to make a few more adjustments and we’ll be fine..“
