COACHES´ REACTIONS
Tibor Kapanek (SUI): „It's a bit disappointing; we didn't envision the game unfoding this way. We lacked more energy on our part. Our plans were disrupted by the early goal in the opening minute. That led to even more nervousness, trying not to make any mistakes. We gave away the ball and allowed the opponent to play more, and they definitely deserved the victory. They were better today.“
Mike Albright (Assistant Coach, USA): „We needed a big rebound game. All week long we’ve been playing from behind. We played the Czechs, then the Slovaks and Canadians. I told my team let’s see what we can do when we start with lead and build of it instead of trying to come out of a hole every time. They responded and got the lead from the first shot of the game. We started to roll chances, all four lines had its own possibilities. We just started putting the ball to the net. It was a good result.“
