USA U16 outplayed Canada East in emotional derby

With an equal record of one win and one loss, Canada East and USA U16 faced off in what was about to become a fierce battle between two long-time rivals. The game was characterized by intense play with the Americans having a slight edge. They quickly took a two-goal lead which ultimately proved to be the break-point of the game. Although the Canadians closed the gap to a single goal in the middle period, the United States immediately pulled away again, and in the final period, they held onto their lead without letting it slip away.
