Michal Edl (CZW):"We made it unnecessarily complicated. Some passages weren't ideal, while others turned out well. It wasn't as easy as we probably imagined. It was the first match. I'm glad the guys handled it, and I hope it will help them mentally. However, tomorrow we are facing a completely different opponent, and we need to prepare for them."

Callum West (GBR): "It was a very good match. We wanted to be worthy opponents, and we succeeded. It's challenging for Great Britain to play in these tournaments against traditional teams. It means a lot to the guys when they score a goal against such ball hockey players. That's why the joy."
