U14s pre-tournament friendly for hosting Czechs

The youngest category set a high standard for the upcoming main tournament. It only took 19 seconds for Charlie Marsden to open the scoring sheet. However, the Czechs answered quickly thanks to Martin Hasal, and less than three minutes later, they were already up after Michal Mareček's laser-accurate long-range shot. The Brits tied the game again just before the end of the first period, and the scoreboard kept showing the score 2-2 until the third of four ten-minute segments. Thanks to two connected goals by Jakub Císař and Martin Hasal, the hosts regained their lead and were able to hold it despite late efforts by Great Britain. In the end, Czechia beat the UK 5-3 in an eye-appealing game while the fans rewarded both teams' efforts with loud applause.
